Tim Linsell has spent over 25 years delivering complex technology programmes across the retail and hospitality sectors. From his early days as a developer through to leadership roles at John Lewis, REPL Group, Accenture, and Inference Group, he’s led teams, transformed operations, and built trusted delivery capability at scale.
With experience spanning both consultancy and industry, Tim understands what it takes to turn strategy into action, and action into results. He’s passionate about building strong teams, embedding delivery excellence, and helping clients stay in control of their most critical change programmes.
Now, as Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer at Retec, he brings that experience together to help clients unlock value through technology, with structure, pace, and calm in the room.
Ross Marshall
Partner and Co-Founder
Ross Marshall brings 18 years of experience delivering high-value technology programmes across retail, fuel, and convenience. With a background spanning both consultancy and industry, he has led major transformation initiatives for global and national retailers - from programme recovery and vendor selection to POS and payment rollouts, integrations, and enterprise delivery.
Before co-founding Retec, Ross held senior roles at Accenture, REPL Group, and BP, where he led multi-country portfolios and complex supplier ecosystems.
As a founding Partner at Retec, Ross takes a pragmatic, structured approach to simplify transformation and deliver meaningful progress. He’s also passionate about building a people-first consultancy that blends great delivery with purposeful growth and career development.
